Chell's Worklife          Home

Here you will see my work life and my talents.

Ever since I was a child, I had always wanted to race, at that time I wasn't sure what kind, just loved racing and hot cars. As I got older, the interest stayed with me to the point where I wanted to do it professionally as a mechanic. To start my journey, I started working at Trak Auto, of which put me through beauty school. After going to college for a couple semesters, figured that I wanted to do hair professionally.

I did hair in various places, like Hair Cuttery, Splash, Rush and Bubbles. Unfortunately, hair was a strong suit and something I got really good at but wasn't my passion. It started to become more of a side gig than anything.

After years of doing hair, I decided the money was not fast enough and wanted to do something more technical, so I researched going to school to be a mechanic but due to feeling out of place and scared I just attended a class at the community college. After doing this and deciding in my early years, decided to just do cars as hobby and not my livelihood.

At this point, I decided to pursue the computer industry, thus I started attending TESST school for computers. I did hair at night and went to school 20-30 hours a week. After finishing school, I started my first job at Digex and now have ended up working at National Institutes of Health as a computer support person.

On the side, I like to dabble in web design and learning how to work on cars. When I am working at the shop and its slow, I try to help out and also work on project cars. I also work on my own car on the side and the weekends. I also like to dabble with the Fbody Central website. I found a friend to  help me put together a nice website for the shop, that turned out to be a great creation. I have also created business cards to help out with advertisement for the shop. After all that work is done, I am also trying to find a t-shirt design for the new batch of t-shirts.
