The Beginning of F-Body Central

Here at F-body Central, our goal is to make the customer fast, with the latest and greatest of technology out there. F-Body Central was originated five years ago in a one-car garage by Jason Shifflett, then moved to a two car garage. As time went on, space was getting to be an issue, so the shop was then moved to Glen Burnie off of Crain Hwy. Due to high demand and space issues, the shop was then moved again to a 8000 sq ft. garage in Baltimore, MD. This has become one of the more well known shops on the east coast to specialize in late-model GM performance. Our goal is to help you achieve your goals at the track and off by setting you up with the most optimal performance package available at a reasonable price.

F-Body Central Inc. specializes in late model GM performance. We work on late model Firebirds, Camaros, Corvettes, GTO's, late model GM trucks, third generation f-bodies and so much more. Our services range from: preventive maintenance, general automotive repair, mustang dyno tuning and quarter mile runs, setting up and installing performance packages, such as: heads and cam, nitrous setups, custom exhaust, forced induction (superchargers & turbos) etc. We are also dealers for K & N filters, Strange drive train products, McLeod drive train, Jet-Hot coatings, Kooks headers, Competition Cams, STS turbo. We also use tuning software such as: EFI Live, HP Tuners, Tuner Cat, CAL DFI, and have recently picked up software for third generation f-bodies.hi

Due to recent reconstruction of our old parts room, we now have a newly built Showroom. The Showroom, has a great display of parts, catalogs providing parts for your performance needs. The Showroom also has a comfortable lobby area, where you can watch DVD's, play PS2 and watch racing videos, while also having a plethora of performance magazines to read to pass the time while waiting for your car.
